RIP: CBS’s “Armed and Famous”

There are some shows that you know are immediately due for disaster when you hear about the idea. Such was the case of CBS’s “Armed and Famous.”
CBS has quickly pulled the embarrassing celebrity reality show off the air due to low ratings.
Effective immediately, reruns of “CSI: New York and Criminal Minds” will fill the deceased show’s timeslot until the return of “Jericho” on February 14.
The reality briefly show followed celebrities including Jack Osbourne and LaToya Jackson as they trained to become reserve officers for a police department in Indiana.
Ratings deservedly plummeted from its series premiere; in its last outing, it just scraped fourth place in its timeslot ahead of The CW’s “Beauty and the Geek.”
RIP: Armed and Famous. Well, at least LaToya got tazered, so I guess it wasn’t a TOTAL loss…
