On The Campaign: Obama Whores Out His Kids

Barack Obama showed that when it comes to change, original political tactics are not what he’s talking about, as he shamelessly paraded his kids to “Access Hollywood” of all shows, in his continuing presidential bid.
The “Access Hollywood” interview in which Obama and his wife Michelle allowed daughters Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, to participate opened a curtain on a potential president’s family’s selling out of privacy. Hey, maybe they’ll get a Nick Jr. show out of it.
Although their parents did most of the talking and the girls mostly looked like they’d rather be anywhere else on the planet, Obama later said he and his wife got carried away, and later claimed it was a mistake to do it.
“I don’t think it’s healthy and it’s something that we’ll be avoiding in the future,” Obama said Wednesday on “Good Morning America,” continuing to bring the mistake to the light of anyone who didn’t know about it.
The interview, painfully spread out in four parts on the show last week, was conducted by correspondent Maria Menounos when the Obamas were in Montana on July 4.
In a rash of paparazzi-like zeal, entertainment newsmagazines have done many light personality segments on the candidates, giving them a non-challenging opportunity to show off their human side, and in return, score huge rating by showing the candidates whore off their loved ones and close associates.
One might think that Obama would take a page from the MaCain campaign. After all, if anyone would have an ample opportunity to show off his family, it’s McCain. Three of McCain’s four sons have served in the military.
