Sylvester Stallone: New Rocky Film Was A Bad Idea

Sylvester Stallone might have lost a step, and when it comes to his new movie, “Rocky Balboa,” he may have lost his mind as well. The movie isn’t even out yet, but he’s already claiming that aspects of doing it was a mistake.
Sylvester Stallone now regrets signing on to make a sixth Rocky movie, and wishes he had listened to his wife’s original protests when he was offered the role.
Stallone’s wife, model Jennifer Flavin reportedly burst into tears when Stallone told her that he would be reprising his role as boxing champ Rocky Balboa once again, because she was worried about the strain of a rigorous training routine, and what effect it would have on him.
Stallone now admits she may have been right, but later had a change of heart.
“She was absolutely right. I mean, she was just defending her husband from what actually was a totally crazy idea, but now she likes it.”
Stallone says that he was talked into doing the movie because the last film was such a disappointment.
“I know “Rocky 5″ disappointed a lot of people. I felt the same way about it and that was gnawing away at me everytime people said to me they liked the first four but..
“When the option of Rocky came up I thought the time was right to do another one, just to make sure it was finished properly. That’s just what life is like.”
Call us old school, gluttons for punishment, but we’re looking forward to “Rocky Balboa”. Maybe we can get free seats (hint, hint)…
